The Taubertal is known as a unique jewelery box in Germany. Like pearls on a string, one tourist highlight follows the other along the Tauber. An ideal vacation spot with great leisure opportunities, fantastic excursion destinations, wine and enjoyment. Easily explored by bike or on foot under the motto “Hike out or go out by bike – return by bus or train, or vice versa”. The bus and train stops are approx. 400 meters from the campsite. The “Camping Schwabenmühle”, which opened in 2008, is located in the wine and holiday resort of Laudenbach. The facility is in an idyllic location on a peninsula, nestled between Vorbach and Mühlbach, surrounded by forest and vineyards in the Vorbachtal, a side valley of the lovely Taubertal at an altitude of 260 m above sea level and is surrounded by rolling hills up to 400 m above sea level. The family-run campsite is centrally located in the “Lieblichen Taubertal” on the outskirts of Laudenbach, a district of the residential town of Weikersheim and is an ideal starting point for bike tours, hikes and visits to the numerous sights in Tauberfranken with the best connection to the Tauberbahn public transport system (free bike transport ), Bus transport and from Weikersheim the “Romantische Straße” bus line to Rothenburg ob der Tauber and a Night Life Shuttle on weekends. There are restaurants and a bakery in the village (a few minutes’ walk).

The stable and barn building of the former Schwabenmühle has been lovingly restored and converted into a modern and functional building. On the meadow area of ​​over two hectares, we offer spacious tent, caravan and mobile home sites.
